Trending Now: Bubba Watson takes over Masters lead

In Progress: Bubba Watson has opened up a 4 shot lead in the 2nd round of the Masters.  Watson has birdied 5 straight holes, and is at -8 thru 16 holes.  Adam Scott just started his 2nd round, and is at -2, with Rory McIlroy at -1.

 

Phil Mickelson is at +7 and in danger of missing the cut. Mickelson scored an 6 on the par 3 12th hole in today’s 2nd round.  He hasn’t missed the cut at the masters since 1997.

 

Heat guard Dwyane Wade will miss his 9th straight game tonight because of a hamstring injury.  Miami hosts Indiana, with the Heat behind Indiana by a ½ game in the East.

 

Rockets center Dwight Howard won’t play tonight against Minnesota because of an ankle injury.

 

Iowa State gave men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg a $600,000 per year raise, bringing his annual average salary to $2.6 million.  His deal runs through 2023.
